Ligularia dentata Desdemona

An impressive plant for a spacious border or waterside garden with overhead shade. Ornamental toothed foliage tinted purple makes good ground cover and during the summer tall stems support large heads of stricking orange daisy flowers.

Position: Needs a moist site in partial shade.
Plant care: Water well before planting and keep moist at all times. Protect from slugs in spring.

Golden Groundsel. A large clump-forming perennial with brownish green, rounded leaves, maroon beneath and tall red stems of deep orange flowers with brown centres from mid-summer to early autumn. Flower colour Orange. Flowers from July to September. Herbaceous. Foliage colour Purple-Green. Hardy. 2 litre pot. Large ones availabe but call first.
